An effective retirement plan begins with sound plan design strategy and grows with attentive execution. Design elements impact every aspect of your plan—from investments and recordkeeping to compliance and communication.

In the industry’s constantly changing legislative environment, retirement plan sponsors must continually monitor the design of their qualified retirement plans to ensure that they are not only satisfying any new requirements, but also meeting intended employee benefits.

Anthem Financial Services will review the design and operational features of your company's plan, from an independent perspective. Once we have a sense of your corporate and retirement plan objectives, we will review and propose specific plan design features for your needs.

  • Education Services to Plan Committee – Anthem will provide education, training, and/or guidance for the members of the Plan Committee with regard to plan features, retirement readiness matters, or duties and responsibilities of the Committee, including education with respect to fiduciary responsibilities.

  • Service Provider Liaison – Anthem shall assist the Client by acting as a liaison to  their retirement plan service providers, product sponsors and/or vendors.

  • Qualified Default Investment Alternative (QDIA) Assistance – Anthem will assist Client with selecting default investment solutions  offered by third parties in connection with the definition of a “Qualified Default Investment Alternative” under ERISA regulations.
